“วัดภูสูง” เป็นวัดที่ได้รับการกล่าวขานในเรื่องของการท่องเที่ยวเป็นอย่างมาก วัดแห่งนี้ เป็นวัดสาขาของวัดป่าวังน้ำทิพย์ ตั้งอยู่ในตำบลบุ่งค้า อำเภอเลิงนกทา จังหวัดยโสธร ด้วยสโลแกนว่า “ภูสูงแดนธรรมะ กราบพระใหญ่” “วัดภูสูง” นั้นได้ตั้งชื่อตามตำแหน่งที่ตั้งของวัด เนื่องจากว่าวัดตั้งอยู่บนภูเขา ที่คนในท้องถิ่นเรียกกันว่า ภูสูง นี่จึงเป็นที่มาของชื่อวัดนั่นเอง “วัดภูสูง” เป็นวัดสาขาของวัดป่าวังน้ำทิพย์ที่ทางวัดตั้งใจจะให้เป็น “พุทธอุทยาน” แหล่งจัดอบรมปฏิบัติธรรมที่สามารถรองรับผู้มาเยือนได้มากถึง 300 คน และยัง เป็นจุดชมวิวที่มีความสวยงามแห่งหนึ่ง จุดเด่นของวัดภูสูงก็คือ พระใหญ่ หรือ รูปปั้นพระพุทธรูปเนื้อสีขาวนวลองค์ใหญ่ ซึ่งตั้งตระหง่านอยู่ภายในวัด เป็นพระพุทธรูปที่สร้างได้อย่างวิจิตรบรรจง มีความสวยงามมากๆ โดยบริเวณตัวฐานของพระพุทธรูปได้ถูกตกแต่งด้วยภาพของพุทธประวัติขององค์สมเด็จพระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้า
