กองพัฒนานักศึกษา มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏนครราชสีมา (มร.นม.) จัดกิจกรรม “ยินดีต้อนรับเพื่อนพ้องน้องพี่สู่บ้าน NRRU เปิดเทอมใหม่ ปีการศึกษา 2565” ที่บริเวณประตูทางเข้าสถาบันการศึกษา โดยมีรองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สุธานันธ์ โพธิ์ชาธาร รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายกิจการนักศึกษาและศิษย์เก่าสัมพันธ์พร้อมกรรมการบริหารและผู้นำนักศึกษาทั้ง 7 คณะ ร่วมให้การต้อนรับนักศึกษาใหม่ที่กำลังเดินทางเข้ามาสู่รั้ว มร.นม.อย่างอบอุ่นและชื่นมื่น โดยบรรดานักศึกษารุ่นพี่ได้ร่วมขับร้องเพลงดนตรีโฟล์คซองต้อนรับน้องๆนักศึกษาปีที่ 1 เพื่อสร้างขวัญกำลังใจและความคุ้นเคยอย่างเป็นกันเอง
ทั้งนี้เป็นกิจกรรมการเปิดการเรียนการสอนรูปแบบออนไซต์ในปีการศึกษา 2565 หลังเกิดสถานการณ์การแพร่ระบาดของเชื้อไวรัสโควิด-19 ต้องปรับตัวสู่ระบบออนไลน์ ทำให้นักศึกษาไม่ได้เดินทางเข้ามาภายใน มร.นม. เป็นเวลาร่วม 2 ปี โดยนักศึกษาที่เข้ามาเรียนและทำกิจกรรมจะมีกองพัฒนานักศึกษาคอยกำกับดูแลอย่างใกล้ชิด
รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สุธานันธ์ ฯ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายกิจการนักศึกษาและศิษย์เก่าสัมพันธ์ เปิดเผยว่า ปีการศึกษานี้ไม่มีนโยบายให้นักศึกษาจัดกิจกรรมรับน้องใหม่ทุกรูปแบบพร้อมประชาสัมพันธ์ประกาศยกเลิก เพื่อให้ทุกฝ่ายรับทราบอย่างเป็นทางการผู้บริหารได้ประชุมหารือร่วมกับองค์กรนักศึกษาให้ช่วยกันวางมาตรการและแนวทางป้องกันการจัดกิจกรรมรับน้องที่ไม่พึงประสงค์ สร้างความเชื่อมั่นให้กับผู้ปกครองที่ส่งบุตรหลานเข้ามาศึกษาภายในรั้ว มร.นม. รวมทั้งประสานงานเครือข่ายหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องให้ความร่วมมือในการแจ้งเบาะแสหากพบการกระทำที่ไม่เหมาะสมรวมทั้งกำหนดบทลงโทษเด็ดขาด หากมีการลักลอบจัดกิจกรรมดังกล่าว
